The cooler temperatures may mean that we have to put away our jet skis or put the ol’ fishing boat into storage. However, the coming of fall doesn’t mean Utah is any less fun when it comes to outdoor play. Our team from
Lofty Peaks Adventures LLC love to live outdoors all year round, so let us share three of our favorite ways to enjoy the fall weather.
1. Take a hike.
You can find many hiking trails throughout the greater
Salt Lake City area. Many locals think that there's no better way to enjoy a Saturday than to pack a lunch, pick a trail, and enjoy spending the day exploring the wooded and scenic areas of
Park City,
Midway, or Snowbird. It's best to get your hiking in now before snow covers the mountains, making it more difficult to find and stay on the paths.
2. Explore the backcountry on an ATV.
Utah is filled with ATV trails that take you to some of the most picturesque parts of the state. If you don't have your own ATV or RZR, you can rent one from us! We have
ATV rentals both at the trailheads or that you can pick up and haul to the location of your choice.
3. Welcome winter weather with a snowmobile rental.
It doesn't take long for fall temperatures to turn cold. Sooner than you know it (maybe even during the fall months!), the white stuff will begin to fall. And you know what that means: snowmobiling season. Instead of grieving the loss of mild fall temps, celebrate the season by
renting a snowmobile from us. We have both
guided and
unguided rentals, depending on what type of snowmobile experience you want. Ready to have some outdoor fun with us?
